thats funny a couple days ago my friend told that black smoke was coming out of my exhaust but in subarureview they say that injen CAI is one of the best but a couple of friends told to switch to the blitz sus filter and adaptor only
so i really dont know, which type of intake do u have
You need to clear the code for the light to go out.
Had the same thing happen a bit ago. My friend that cleared it for me says the car takes something like 80 cycles to clear the dang code for the gas cap....stupid sh*t....
I have an injen intake...and that had nothing to do with it..just the stupid gas cap!

get a perrin or k&n panel filter. it does the job just fine. generally, CAI's work much better on naturally aspirated motors. plus the CAI doesnt even give you any extra HP...in some cases it decreases HP.
you may also check at your local auto parts store to get your computer checked. my light came on a few times for misfire in cylinder 1...so it could be any number of things other than the gas cap, intake etc.
