RnR Racing turbo back exhaust

hey guys,

I was browsing some threads over at evolutionm.net(lancer evo message board) and saw RnR racing exhaust systems for sale. I looked on their website and they have a full 3" turboback for only $700.

Just wondering if anyone here has tried their system on thier WRX or has heard anything about their products.

Thanks,

Ryan

There are other, more well known, manufacturers who sell TBE's for about the same price.

thanks for the reply Scotty,

the only other well known companies that sell Turbo backs are:

Vishnu~$1200
TurboXS~$1000
AVO~$1300
MRT~$1200
M2~$1100
B&B Performance~$1000
BPM~$1000
APS~$1100
Buschur Racing~$850
Invidia~$1200

If you've got any other well known manufactures that sell TBE's for $700, please let me know.

Regards,

Ryan

Would it have to be all from the same mfg?
If you picked a 'favorite' DP you could add the rest for ~$500 from Stromung or Borla or a couple others....
You get what you pay for...better to spend a bit more once than have to spend it twice.
I'd love to hear what a Bosal DP and 3" Stromung back would sound like......I have a Perrin DP w/3" Stromung and it sounds nice, very nice....

There are only a few low resolution pics of the turboback exhaust that I found at RnR online. It looks like a typical bellmouth design. I'd want to see better pics, both installed and off the car, because $700 is still a lot of money. Also, people who have run catless tell me that it sometimes makes the car too darned loud and also smells bad, which is a tipoff to local law enforcement that there are no cats. Running just one cat usually takes care of the stinky exhaust.

I ran catless on my Talon and it was fine. Not too loud, a little stinky, but nothing obscene. Of course I also had a big turbo on my Talon which would cut down on some of the noise.
