ABS light

The person that had the car before me put braided brake lines in and slotted rotors...and I not super mechanically inclined...yet...and cant figure out why the abs is having an issue. The light wont go off EXCEPT when i do hit the brakes hard i can feel it want to kick back and the light goes off but then comes back on within a minute

On one of my other cars, this meant either the fluid was low or the pads were worn out (worn out pads actually dropped the fluid enough to turn on the light) . Both fairly simple to check.

have you tried to pull the code? Do you know how to pull the code by yourself with no equipment?
