The North Nevada Rally is back for 2010. This is a full off-road performance rally held in the desert east of Reno (up near Burning Man's location, for those of you who're familiar with that).

We're going to be having some night stages on Friday June 4th near Lovelock, and a full day of competition near Gerlach on Saturday, June 5th.

We've still got lots of premium volunteer spots open - manning timing controls, road marshals, being a ham operator, etc.

is this really going to happen this time cause last time they cancelled last minute

 

Last year the event was first delayed then canceled on account of permit issues, this year the permit issues have been resolved but two other factors still could jeopardize the rally- one is not enough entrants, the other is not enough volunteers.
From the traffic on this forum it seems pretty clear that i-club doesn't really care much about rally, if you do -sign up!
If it gets canceled again, you'll have a free weekend, if it doesn't you get to work a rally- what do you have to lose?
