History:
I am the third owner. I purchased this car over a year ago from a former NASIOC member who has since gone BMW. He purchased the car with 11k miles, had the swap done by Kingpin at approximately 18k. I purchased the car with 23k and have driven it daily since.

Before I made the purchase, I spoke with Clark Turner from Kingpin several times via email. He said that this was the "tightest" JDM motor he had ever received and that it was in perfect shape. I can forward these emails to anyone who is interested. As far as the ECUtek tune, Clark said that the car was currently tuned conservatively, and that he had left "plenty on the table." He offered to fine-tune the ECU if I shipped it to him in AZ, but I never took him up on it. The car was plenty fast for me.

With Clark's assurances I purchased the car. I then installed all of the suspension and Perrin goodies, added the scoop, splitter, and 5zigens. I also added "Uncle Scotty's Cocktail" to the 5mt, redline synthetic to the rear diff, and changed the oil with Mobil 1 every 3k.

The Accident:
12/19/2005. On my way to work, slow traffic (10-15 mph). I switch lanes, glance in my rearview to make sure the car behind was backing off, and look down in time to see the car in front slam on their brakes. I do the same, and stop...about 1 foot too late. Damn winter tires.

The car I hit was a jacked-up Jeep Cherokee. The collision scuffed their bumper, but broke my grill, one headlight, and buckled my hood (see pics below). It did no mechanical damage, and I drove it home. It was repaired at a respected local shop (serves the local Volvo and Cadillac dealers) with OEM parts. I have all of the records.

"Accident" 2:
9/9/2006. Citgo gas station. Inside the crowded station paying for my 93 octane with cash. This is unusual, as I usually pay at the pump. I look past the other patrons and I can just see the top of my car. Start to look away and I see it move! Run outside in time to see a brown/tan Explorer pulling out of the lot. I vaguely remember this car being at the pump in front of me, so I check the front of the WRX. Sure enough, the guy backed into me and ran. The plastic is obviously damaged and the paint is spidered. Call the police, file a report, and leave. When I get to my destination (picking up my daughters b-day cake!) I notice that all that spidered paint has blown away. Nice.

Price:
$18,500 AS-IS. I'll listen to offers, and while I am willing to have the bumper cover replaced if buyer requests, that would alter my price.

PM or EMAIL if interested.

Thanks for looking-
Brad

Pics from last weekend:
First, the bumper. Washing removed even more paint. Sigh...:

Now, imagine what it would look like with a new bumper cover:
