I was forwarded that "Major Engine Problem!!!" thread, by a friend of mine that owns a WRX but is getting rid of it for a real man's car (03 Cobra). Some of you guys are major F' Heads for turning that guy into the local Seattle dealerships, because he managed to get his car covered under warranty. Most of you would do the same thing.

First off, that WRX you guys love IS THE FUNNIEST LOOKING CAR I'VE SEEN IN A LONG LONG TIME! I laughed at my buddy for getting one, but he's thankfully seen the light and bought himself a new Cobra. You freaking rice burners would have done the same thing in getting your car covered under warranty. Most of you morons are probably kids in the first place and can't afford to get a new engine on the money you make flipping burgers at McDonald's.

I hope someone pays you back for your actions!!!!

 

i don't understand why people think that the person who sent the note to SOA is in the wrong....??? the kid who ran 18psi with out any knowledge, and then tried to rip off subaru is in the wrong. plus, soa said in their reply they were going to deny him anyway. then he went to another dealer after he knew this thread had been sent, and tried to get warranty work. thats just wrong. the kid just didn't want to take responsibility for his actions. this whole topic is old, but i felt like responding.
BTW, a cobra? you think pushrods make it a real car???

It's not that the moron that blew his engine wasn't wrong by getting Subaru to cover his F' up, it's the guys turning him in that bothers me.

I've never had a problem with the performance of the WRX, it just looks REALLY REALLY funny. However, a new Cobra would blow the doors off a WRX anyday of the week. A WRX may last longer, because it is a rice burner, but it just can't compete with the performance of the new Cobras. You can't really argue with that. Plus the Cobra looks great.

gimma a supra, wrx, rs, eclipse, 300zx, 350z, over a cobra anyday, and thats just on looks.

Why is the guy so wrong for saying something?? as a subaru owner he has to protect his interests if you will. as Imprezer said in another thread, it wasn't till some stupid people got into trouble with their rex, and "cleaned" things b4 going to the dealer. dealers figured it out, and started denying people. they couldn't always tell if the prob. was related to modifications.
