'01 WRX? Apparently you must not be in the US because we didn't have the WRX until MY02, this is a North American board.
Regardless, if you have the fuel filter in the engine bay like our '02 you can follow the lines from the filter to the fuel rails. There is also a return line that runs next to the supply line. If no filter, just find the metal lines at the rails and follow them back.
