I h8 this place now, spt said it loud and clear, it's about money not us. They rather us leave and new members replace us. Sounds like fast food turn around with their employees type mentality to me. Time to find a new place to play. I know they won't miss me but I know a TON of hardcore oldschool members feel this way.

Then you're reading way too much into it.

Why try to create drama where there is none?

To me it sounded more like they do need to make money to keep the site running. Its like you can go into a store, but if you want that store to stay around so you can continue to shop there, you aren't going to get items at their cost, they need to make a profit. Them making a profit however doesn't mean they care less about their customers.

Two ways to run a website, for fun and for profit. I know how much money and time it takes to create, maintain, and pay for site and it's hosting. It's pretty inexpensive, lot's of people will try to tell you how MUCH money and time it takes where it really doesn't.

Just my .02

I don’t post, but I have been lurking from the beginning; now I can’t even do that anymore. I just don’t have 20 min to load a few pages, (ads are looking great though).
