This site suggestions

This site needs something for the members to look forward to. For example; Almost every forum I'm on is making a 2012 Calendar where the members submit pictures of their cars to the admins, and they do what they want with them and come back with a calendar for members to purchase. This I think would be a very simple chore for the admins to do and would also give a good payout.

Another thing that would be simple that RS25 does is every month they pick a theme and people will submit pictures of their cars that coordinate with the theme. Once pictures are posted between 1-2 weeks the admins start a poll for who will win car of the month. Once the winner is crowned then their car and some information about the owner is posted on the sites' homepage.

Those are just 2 ideas for this site to take into consideration. This place is a rather dry forum if you ask me, but I know a lot of good people on it.

First off thanks for the suggestions. They are always welcome.

Yes I agree there are some great people on this board.

We changed the header of the forum once. It turned into a bit of a production. I was actually looking last week for the announcement on that one. It looks like it is time to change it again. Would you like to head that one up?

Calendar would be cool. I just feel that's a popularity contest though. I don't go to many meets(too far) so I prob won't have a chance on the calendar because I don't know many people in person.

no one likes a popularity contest. i can agree with you, but it would mix things up a bit.

well that is an easy solution to solve. admins wont pick the people....members will pick. it will be a poll.

Adding signatures, and having some better trolling/flaming rules. This forum is ridiculous when it comes to trolling.

Forum Troll = An obnoxious user or member on a forum that goes out of their way to make pointless, offensive, or annoying posts and messages. Often these users are labeled as spammers and will post random off-topic junk in many sections of a forum.

THIS needs to be regulated... MODS!

Sigs clutter up the forum and we are borderline on the avatars. They were hard enough. People always want to test it and want to play in the grey area as far as content goes.

signatures won't clutter as long as their is a limit to your characters and whether or not images are allowed.
