Thumbs down New thread format

What the heck is up with the new thread format?

Why should I have to scroll through previews of members replies up top and click next to advance to the following post (or click their reply preview) when I used to be able to scroll through all the replies quickly and easily?

The only good thing I can see about the new format is that it will prevent peoples computers from slowing down when there are a lot of replies with pictures embedded or attached. Other than that it seems like I am wasting more time now reading through threads than I ever did before.

I would really like to see it changed back to how it was. I've been a member here since 2003 and this new posting format is already annoying enough for me that I am considering not posting anymore.

Mods, what is your take on these new changes?

Jeff,

Go to user CP and use these settings to get it back where it was.

Hope that helps; there wasn't a default change made or anything, maybe just a DB hiccup with your account.

I know if I clear my cookies or log in from a different computer is in hybrid mode (or maybe threaded, but definitely not linear)
