Sorry Bob, I gotta agree w/ the kids. Both on the MacBook and iPhone this sucks. I don't want the mobile version, I use full version and zoom if I need to.

I understand IB may want it to prevent users from griping about their data charges for full-site, or in my case AT&T crying b/c I got unlimited and they get stuck holding the bill.

I'm trying to get used to it but the complaints above are legit. It takes longer and thus more battery energy to navigate with the new setup.

Finally, I've seen this on other forums IB has pushed the change on and heard exactly the same thing.

This sucks, please change it back.

 

Also, FYI, if you close the browser or even log out it then defaults to ICLUB37. At least make it a lockable option under USER PREFERENCES so every time I jump back online...


..I don't need to then login and re-select it.

..I don't need to reset it for different systems, iPhone, laptop, desktop.


Set it to NEW_ICLUB and forget it because it stays.

click the new_iclub and then hit save.

 

just noticed something that the new_iclub skin does not allow that the old one did.

You used to be able to click on your name (upper right corner) to view your profile. Its not clickable now.

You STILL have to use the dumb new one, drop down and click it from there.

Can we please get a "skin" where it is the plain old view how it had been for years? I seriously do not like these changes.

And now when you click on attachments, they open in a new tab, instead of just a pop up in the same tab.

Thanks, must be getting old and forgetful.

Scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options" (lowest box) and select "Forum Skin".

 

Clicking on "Your notifications" no longer lets you see what the notification is about. It used to let you know if you had a PM and let you click on the relevant link. Now it does nothing, I can't see my PMs because I can't click the menu.

 

OK seems to be going well except for 4 people and SC doesnt count so 3

I think the new bar is cleaner.

 

I can't stand the ap. I don't hate the new bar. And I can't check my damned PM's.


The PM thing is a major issue. I click on it and it does nothing. WTF.

 

Just because no one else is posting about it does not mean it is going well for the rest of the users. Some people just accept change for the worse with out a complaint.

 

I set mine to new_iclub and I can hit the PM notification (top right under my username) and it will take me to my inbox.

But I still can not click on my username to see my profile (still have to use the new nav bar for that )

 

but there is a thread for it that is linked.

if they cant take 20 seconds to post "I do not care for it" I am guessing its not that bad.
