I just ran into this problem the other day and I am sure their are plenty of people with the same problem. My idiot of a friend (he works on domestics I cut him a break) accidently drained my tranny. I didn't know how much to put back in...but the story gets worse. I find in my owners manual it takes 10 qts. and so (once again not knowing what we were doing) we start adding 10 qts to my tranny. after 3 it over flows...why is it overflowing. wel it was because i was on the wrong side of the tranny and was filling my diff gear oil with ATF! This could have all been avoided if there was one place were these answers could be found. Simple how-to guides. I did do a search and couldn't find anything and the owners manual is too vage. I think this would be a really cool way for the experienced subie-heads to help out the newbies and maybe even learn something new. What do you guys think?
