GC8 Specific Forum
I miss the days when there was a GC8 specific forum. Don't get me wrong I would like to buy an 05 wrx wagon, but right now i don't have the dough. I can't seem to get anyone to answer any of my questions in the general forums. I am asking maintainance questions in a forum full of guys talking bigger turbos and body kits. I would like to benefit from the vast knowledge of many of the I-Club members but the help is flowing like mud around here...

So thats the response? Forget your roots? Out with the old? Chase everyone out who has a car model pre 2001? Nice attitude, real nice. Keep in mind the true origional WRX and Sti were GC8s.

OK OK my first post was a valid suggestion. the second was sarcasim (which doesn't translate well through a keyboard...sorry) and just so it's noted, i did look to see cars listed on the profiles for joubtt and i2()N!N to see that they have older RSs. i thought this was i-club not WRX-club thats all. sheesh

i think most people here have 2002 or newer cars.
i come here for the people, and go to rs25 for my gc8 ?'s.
not to say the people on rs25 are any less cool, this just was the first
subaru forum i joined and i have feelings for i-club.

i find that a lot of technical things can be shared between platforms. But i guess for someone with zero knowledge on the car would prefer something more specific. I mean, things like how to change brake fluid or oil change would be the same across different MY. If you really want something 'GM6' specific, there is always other sites as well. As for myself, I frequent both i-club.com and RS25.com.
also, to me, online forum is a places for information, not a place to 'stay'. I don't feel like I 'belong' to one over the other.
