Annual I-club meet???

I want to suggest to have an official I-club meet if we can have an annual meeting at different states once a year. I'm sure we have enough members in each state to come to the gathering.

Technically the Mt. Hamilton meet in San Jose is the "official" i-club annual meet.

Mt. Hamilton is a long way for me to drive to come to the annual "I-Club" meet.

I would suggest one somewhere in the middle....

Total Est. Time: 36 hours, 27 minutes Total Est. Distance: 2436.25 miles

Maybe you guys need more people from the east coast!. . . The point is, its good if everybody gets to experience what I-club is all about if you bring it across the country.

You east coasters should count your blessings. How do you think the Hawaii guys feel?

Actually, I am in favor of a centralized meet. The problem is, just planning the Mt. Hamilton meet for <300 people is a nightmare for brucelee; how would he be able to do that for 1000 or more in another state?

^^Word plus note the arrow pointing at the middle of the country and a city called Denver. It would be the perfect place to have a meet plenty of space, beautiful weather, not to mention plenty of twisty mountain passes between there and California and numerous other things.

Actually, I would think St. Louis would be better, but wasn't there an Impreza meet of some kind there this year? Anybody know how big it got?

The drive out to Denver from here would be cool I bet. That's why I picked Denver too, cause of the Mountains!

On a side note I have always wanted to drive the Pacific Coast Highway in my suby! I bet that is Niiiiice

Not sure if I'd drive across the country for a meet. For me, it would have to include a day at a road course and a drag strip.

And cheap motel rooms. I don't like paying > $80 for a place to sleep. Buttonwillow CA had rooms at < $35 per night.
