2008+ WRX Section

I am not sure if it was brought up but I was wondering since it seems like we have a steadily growing population in the 2008+ owners can we expand it more? like add more things to it other then general like a How to, Suspension, Exhaust, Engine...etc like the other generations. I feel like it would be easier to post that way instead of having all the questions and threads in the General.

Thank you in advanced

Amen, I brought up the same topic. https://www.i-club.com/forums/site-suggestions-feedback-47/clearly-define-tech-sections-207192/ No replies to it though.

Hey guys, we'll look at again. There is always the concern that a forum will not be used and end up orphaned. Thanks.

Bob.

Looking at the current structure, you can see what Bob's saying - it may not make sense to add another 10 subforums that will get minimal traffic individually, but it makes sense to add a few specific tech forums for the sections that are significantly different, like, say, suspension and interior/exterior/appearance?

The motors and trans are similar, ECU stuff is common, etc - we also don't have the previous gens broken out except by drivetrains.

Would that work for you guys? I know having every section dedicated to a particular chassis makes it slightly easier to search sometimes, but it usually means lots more forums with minimal posts, and lots of valid questions and tips that cover multiple cars getting missed because they're located under another chassis forum that people aren't looking at.

come to think of it though. 08+ WRX not STI Motor set up are different though then previous years. But i do understand that it might not get that much activity but if there were like a intake and exhaust section would make some sense. I think a DIY,Suspension,Apperance, Exhaust/Intake thread would be good.

yes yes yes to this because the legacy forum is half dead usually. It would help our community out too The 08+ is exactly alike with us even sways.

I second that. I would really like to see at least a couple different subforums in the +08 section.

Working on it, guys - no need to bump. We'll be moving stuff around so it makes more sense for the common drivetrains and different chassis. Look for a change in the next few days.
