So how did it sound on the car? Might be interested in just the catback.

I honestly have no clue. I bought my GC8 and the dude threw in a few stock parts, this being one of them. The piping is 2".

Hm, was hoping it was on the car when you got it. The GF I picked up this weekend has a crappy no-name/corner garage muffler on it. Don't need something crazy, just better, and I would think this one might have the same hangars as the GF.

Yeah.. I am honestly too lazy to swap it out to test, not to mention I am moving this week so I just don't have the time. I would imagine the hangers are the same for the GF.

That looks like a stock 2.5RS muffler. They came with a chrome tip. It's really quiet and not made for performance at all. Lol.

Are you sure? Because it looks like the hangers were moved/re-welded as well as the flanges. I don't know, which is why I am thinking it was taken from another model...

Pretty sure it is the stock muffler, but the right hangar does not look original.

I'm the previous owner of the car.

It's a stock RS catback. The center of the midpipe was rewelded because I had to re-rotate the piping. The owner before me cut the midpipe and when it was rewelded the angled section by the resonator pointed downwards, so I had it rewelded for clearance. Same goes for the axleback. The owner before me cut the hangars to use on another exhaust, so I had the exhaust shop reweld some new hangars.

So is it basically back to stock config then? Meaning it should fit a GF?

I bought that OEM sub from you way back when and saw your car when you had it, (*edit) I guess this is your old car LOL?

Thanks for clarifying that Carl!
