I can respect that. Now that my 15 year old baby is also part rust bucket, most mods these days are DIY. I take insperation for how cars are modded in Cuba/Somalia

Hmm... Maybe the 4G Impreza nets might work.

F551SFJ200 - Cargo Net - Side. CARGO NETS SIDE QTY 2 - Genuine Subaru Accessory

I'm also interested in the *****. I have my rear seat net from the old car. But I need the ***** to install it in the new car.

Or, take your time, do a stellar job, and make it better/nicer than Subaru.

I used to do a bunch of DIY stuff. It was a mess. I'm at the point that if I can find something either right the first time or close enough, it saves a lot of stress and the satisfaction is much higher.

You overestimate me and my ability to do the bolded items.

Nets suck anyways. Seriously.

Once I'm done with the other 5 billion projects I need to do, I plan to make a cubby box of sorts for my hatch

what are you trying to accomplish with the net?

cause that looks cool, but in practice I bet it sucks.

the whole point of a net is to keep things from sliding/rolling around

a giant net doesn't accomplish this. a small net or a bunch of cubbies does

The big thing that's annoying me really... I have a waterbottle that's rolling around in my car and 1) it's annoying to hear it clank around and 2) I'm afraid of the paint on it getting chipped from rolling around.

If I can put it in a net, it's perfect. It's too big for all the door cubbies/cupholders.

That's 4 individual nets around the walls. I can tuck smaller items between the nets and the walls/in the nets and keep them from moving around in the back.

I was also looking at the cargo organizer. But I think that would be more annoying than the nets.

why not just use one of the cubbies that's already built into your trunk if it's just for the 1 water bottle
