I don't have any cubbies in the trunk. But I have some jackets and a chair too. The chair does a good job of staying in place and the jackets don't really clank around like the water bottle does. I also need to put my oar somewhere too. But the trunk might not be great for that.

all 08+ hatches have the little cubbies in the back on each side of the spare cover. they've little doors that open.

Dude, those go like way into the chassis of the car. I don't think I really want to be storing stuff there. Dis water bottle also doesn't fit in those.

Too big for my satchel. Thought about trying to hook it to one of the grocery bag hooks. But it's still going to back clank around.

Plus, I want nets, damnit!
