The time has come. I have a swapped 1997 OBS that I am looking to sell. One of the significant things about this car is that the car has been reffed by the state of California and is a completely smog legal swap. I found the car sitting at Quirt Crawfords house pretty much as you see it here but collecting dust so I purchased it. First I sent the car to have the body completely stripped down and repainted. When it got back Crawford did all of the work to clean the car up mechanically and even upgrade some of the components. The initial swap was from a 2004 WRX but in the restoration/upgrade most of the components were sourced off of a 2007 STI. Finally the transmission was rebuilt by Irvine Subaru using an 05 LGT gearset. The car is currently in Los Angeles, 90026 specifically.

I just got the car back from Irvine Subaru. I had the car gone through and replaced the following.

Complete inspection
Oil/ Filter Change
Headlight ground wire fixed (headlight would shut off occasionally)
All new wiper arms and blades front and rear
Charcoal canister replaced
Smogged and certified


Everything else they said looked good.

The car does have a salvaged title but it is because the previous owner decided to cash in the insurance after a small hit on the drivers side headlight that tweaked the hood and headlight bucket. For the full asking price I will also include all of my Subaru parts including STI Ecutek connector w/ license, New Rotors, crinkle red intake manifold, Stage II clutch, Defi Gauges, XS Engineering Powerpack and more.
