FS/T: RHD 93L Brembos, ADVAN, DCCD, FMIC
Up for sale or trade is a fully RHD converted 93 L chassis. I've got my eyes on a Spec B and in order for that to happen this has to go. It has approximately 195k on the chassis. <40k on the motor/drivetrain.
1993 fwd impreza L 5mt chassis
Original parts from date of purchase include: complete chassis, door skins
(were shaved to JDM look), headliner and
a few minor interior pieces (i.e. oh **** handle). EVERYTHING else was replaced.
Chassis setup:
93 originally FWD chassis with majority of sound deading (90%) removed.
JDM GC8 front X member, 98 Legacy rear X member, small capacity AWD 95 gas tank, JDM k member, rear X member has custom poly bushing metal mounts- does the same thing as the Beatrush diff brace but properly and fits my R180 GDB STi diff.
STi GC8 front forged control arms, Powerflex bushings at alk location.GDB version 8 JDM hubs X 4 corners. Wider, R180 in back, stronger webbed forged construction in front, basically this is the best setup you can have on a 5x100 bolt pattern. Widetrack from GDB hubs. Fenders are VERY WIDE. You can stuff a 245/45/17 A032R in there without rubbing
Footwork:
Cusco trailing arms
Cusco front STB
Cusco 22mm front sway bar
Cusco 21-23 mm rear sway bar with Whiteline endlinks
Cusco Front H brace (powercoated black)
Cusco exhaust hangers
Cusco Spin Turn ****
Cusco JDM RHD Master cylinder brace - works awesome
17x7 Advan RC-1 wheels
Front ARP longwheel studs installed so you can run 12mm spacer to clear the
Brembos
McGaurd spline drive lugs
Whitline sway bar brackets
square aluminum profile rear STB
Zeal coilovers with helper springs and adjustible camber plates front AND
rear
Brembo GDB version 8 OEM brakes.
Hawk HPS+ pads front and rear

R180 STi GDB ver8 JDM 1.5 way mechanical LSD
R180 STi rear axels
Exedy 13# chromoly flywheel
STi aftermarket full organic clutch set - the one in the SPT parts catalog
for 5mt pull clutch
STi short shift kit
Pivot adjustable shift ****
Bodywork:
Sti version 6 front bumper
Sti version 6 Aluminum hood
version 7 GDB oem 3 piece front lip
JDM GC8 version 5 rear bumper
JDM GC8 Version 6 front grill with pink I badge
00 RS headlamps

Interior:
Greddy electronic boost guage
STi-RA DCCD guage cluster, fully functional with USDM MPH readout swap

JDM STi-RA version 3 manual window GLASS, panel, and manual window mechanism conversion. Yes, the GLASS is JDM.
WRC carbon fiber mirrors. Taken off actual 98 Subaru WRC car.
STi-RA quick steering rack, OEM power steering cooler
STi version 4 Seats - front and rear. Adjuster ***** work perfectly, because
it is a Right Hand drive car!
STi-RA analog HVAC and climate control. STi RA's had true
lightweight HVAC and AC.
The Bad:
The car definitely need some body work. This may be an issue for some but it was never enough to bother me. It was originally a Michigan car so there is a bit of rust. Left quarter panel needs to be patched where it connects to the bumper, right quarter needs to be patched at the sill and the top of the rear window seal needs to be buffed out.
It needs paint as well. Currently the rear bumper and rear trunk lid are primered black, the hood is black with lots of rock chips and the front bumper is rattle canned green. The fender pull job is only semi-clean. All of this can be easily fixed with a trip to the body shop for some finishing touches.
Spares:
I will be including an EJ20H full long block to build on the side or keep as a spare. Taken out of a JDM Legacy twin turbo, very stout block. A stroker kit which consists of forged flat top short skirt pistons, V8 Spec C rods and an early EJ25 crank. It will also come with unpainted side skirts and a box o' parts that has misc. things like another master cylinder, throttle body, clutch and brake reservoirs, etc.
Price: Price Drop! $13,500!
For everything that I have listed, taking into account the body work that needs to be done, I would like $14,500 obo. The car is worth that in parts and labor alone, excluding the actual chassis itself. I will consider trade offers but they must be on something newer and I'd be willing to add cash on top. As I said I'm currently looking at an 06 Spec B. Now on to the good stuff.
