truf. dogs are high maintenance. for our labs, we have:
*10'x10' dog run complete with horse water trough, dog house, pine chip area for the poops. they're out there unless it's really cold and/or rainy, or really hot.
*airline crates in teh garage to sleep at night unless it's really cold or really hot.
*soft side camping crates for camping or sleeping / being crated in the house during the day if it's really cold or really hot.
the camping crates are soon to be replaced with another set of plastic airline crates though (prolly smaller than the ones the garage, those things are built for great danes or something), and put solely on camping duty.

I'm glad you don't own a dog to own a dog, and you actually care about it... these ****s you can tell owned it to owned it and didn't give a rats *** about it... I almost want to find out if it was taken from them see if I can pick it up
