I talked to my friend/instructor who owns a Karate school in Pleasant Hill. He's down to host a gathering for Martial Artists to come together and spar/grapple/work on techniques etc. etc. I say drive your subies down! I guess thats the only way I can relate this to I-club, but I know there are a lot of martial art practicioners on the board.

It'll be a mellow attitude, leave your ego at home. Come play nice, play rough...but play. We want you to have fun! At the minimum, bring a mouthpiece, groin protector, and some form of hand protection. People of all skill level are welcome. Its free to all, so if you guys have any questions, please feel free to post up or PM. I have posted this on a couple of other forums I visit, so Im hoping for about 15-30 people to show.

There should be other stand up guys to spar with too. Myself and other guys off of barf (bayarearidersforum.com). Plus should be a few other guys from the school itself and some guys from modern combatives.
