Wow nice thread, just noticed it. 18g on a built 2.6L will be a torque monster (probably worse on the tranny than something bigger)! Personally, I would have gone with a stock location 30r (Dom3, ATP3071) but thats just me Can't wait to see everything finished! That cluster looks pretty sick too.

Looking very good SC! It must be tough not being able to drop the hammer with the go-pedal. I've been there also. The wait to unleash almost 430wtq and whp was so difficult for me, so I feel your pain!

My guess is age.. its got 102-103k miles on it.. and ive read that a lot of the 02/03 wrxs have problems with it...

Gay cuz its just sitting in my driveway slowing leaking coolant. Thank god it didnt overheat tho. I saw a little bit of steam coming from the hood Thurs night when it was raining. Pulled over and popped the hood. Didnt see/hear anything so i thought it was just rain water hittin the engine or something and making steam.

So continued on my way home and on the freeway i saw my temp guage start rising. It went to about 3/4 the way up (norm sits about 1/2) but didnt hit the "danger zone" on the gauge. So got off the freeway and once the car was at idle the needle slowly dropped. Drove another 6-7blocks home and pulled into the drive way. Popped the hood and got a flashlight, then could hear a "under pressure" type of leak. So turned the car off and left it.

The next morning i go out and there is two small puddles of coolant on the ground

I installed my new rally armor mudflaps today and there is a small leak somewhere because the puddle is still there. ****ty so now ive gotta find one before i can keep driving.

Yeah mine was leaking too, not sure if it was a crack in it or a hose or what but it sucked. Hope you find one soon
