I have to say every time I see this wing on your car it looks better. Also the rear wide fenders will not work without modifacation to your sti. they will only work on the impreza and the wrx because of the little fender lip on the sti. I am trying to find the best way to fit them on so just keep in contact.

laters

Yo Evil.....is this Tristan? Yeah I really wanted those wide fenders but I just can't come up with an idea on how to get the lip to line up. Definitely keep me posted, and thanks again for the Wing!

By the way, I installed my rear aprons on....here are some updated pics

Yeah it is me. I am lovin your car. I am tryin to find a way to get the fenders to work with out making them weak. you could cut them and fiberglass them on but that is alot of work. I dont even what to know what a shop would charge for that lol. here are some pics of my fenders so far. when all my parts are on and all my body work is perfect I am going to shoot it totone silver with a black top.(as of now) but my fenders are workin out good. I first went down to bear metal and then 3m taped them on (I know that sounds crazy but every trim piece on your new car is held on buy the same tape) and then once everything was lined up I ground down the frp and fiberglassed the fenders to the bear metal. Then I uses a thin coat of bondo to mold them in. I dont think these guys are going anywhere. this is my first atempt at molding wide fenders so I am takein my time an trying to get them as good as I can. after I primerd that section I sanded it back down and I am doing a little more body filler to get it just right. but it is workin out great the kit fit on great. I think I am just overdoing it . and in the pic of the front. there is nothing holding any of the parts on the fenders are just resting on and same with the bumper lights and lip kit. you can see that the fenders are a good fit even without anything holding them in place. but that is Y the bumper is droopy. nothing holdin it on lol.

Damn Tristan.....that is looking pretty sweet! Nice job on the fitment so far. I can already get a glimps of the finished product with that front shot. Thats gonna be one bad *** bug eye! It kills me to see how nice those fenders look on your car, yet can't get them onto my own LOL. Oh well, definitely keep us posted on the progess!

Actually I bet the difference in top speed between an stock STI and that modded one is pretty small. Besides STIs aren't known for their top speed, they're known for going around corners (tarmac or gravel), and downforce only helps that. Question is if those spoilers/splitters are actually creating dowforce or drag.

the wing that is on the sti above in not tested but when I had it on my car I could feel the diference. and at about 90 mph someone drivein next to you can see that the back of the car is squating. I only had it on for a few days and I did not really get it up to any high speed turns. however I am trying to import a replica of the prodrive wrc wing that is an exact copy. it is not here yeah but it sould be soon.
