New Clean Shots of the GC
#16
Btw, its an 06 dash
The install was kind of a pain in the ***. I wanted AC and all that fun stuff, so i had to drill/cut holes in the firewall to make the new heatercore fit. That was probably the hardest part, lining that up and making that fit.
As for the dash beam, I didn't quite do it right, but people say the part that bolts to the tranny tunnel needs to be trimmed. The passenger side of the dash beam needs to be cut and then rewelded with a piece of the original GC dash beam. This way it can bolt up to the side of the car/pillar correctly. As for the driver's side, some holes need to be drilled in order for it to bolt up correctly.
The E-brake wasn't too bad really, from what i can remember, i think it was just a direct bolt up, it just sits more to the left than the gc (which is place directly in the middle.)
