It's great so far! I'm not a great driver or anything, but I'd have to say it doesn't have the hard ride feeling from the previous STi's. To me, that's not really a bad thing. It has a solid feel on the road, especially in turning, but I can see it's slightly softer than before (compared to the ones I've been in). I haven't owned an STi previously so I can't compare them with much experience, just from some I've driven a bit.
It still has gobs of power, but there's a definite lag if you haven't been in the right range before. It also seems to not smoothly give you the power. I expect a tune I'll get soon is gonna help with both of those issues, and help the car work better on 91 octane gas here in california.

I'll check out some of the meets.
It's tons of fun to drive in the hills. I haven't been able to go really hard in the hills yet since it's still being broken in, though. (While I'm not being nice to the engine so much, I have to let the other parts get worn in a bit
