Misaligned body parts are a sign of things that are NOT seen.

Selling your STI and finishing the spitfire would be a better idea. (though it would be a good investment) 510's seem to hit hot spots. Pretty common to see $20,000 510's these days.

It's a DOPE 510. Don't get me wrong. I love 510's and I love that one. And I'm sure it's just worn or missing hood rubber and the car is fine. Shoot from what I can see the workmanship is top notch. But it always makes me wonder when I see a door hung wrong or a hood out of line...etc. What else were they too lazy to check...

With a tune that car is gonna be SICK. Be a blast on the track and street. So I'm not saying anything negative. I'd love to buy that car. LOVE to. I've heavily considered selling my wagon and buying a 510 with what's left after I pay off the wife's car and get her into something new.

I think it makes it look sloppy. Kind of like hedfields 150k buick that has misaligned fender and hood... the purple one.

I love the car besides that.

I'm sure the subs could be or are set up for quick removal.

The hood isn't even bolted up, just setting on there for a couple pics. Sorry

As for the sound system, don't trip too hard. He got a hook up for that custom molded fiberglass box, and he took it from there.

What else can I add about this car, ...
-Sti rear end
-Wilwood brakes
-Doors and trunk have poppers, hence the shaved handles

The tune is coming from Black Trax.

Damnit you got my hopes up. I've wanted a 510 since I was 16. Your friend has done exactly what I would have.

haaaaa. I knew he wouldn't build a car like that and not have a box that wasn't easily removeable.

Glad to hear it's not on because the rest of the work on the car looks TOP NOTCH.

I just hate when I see these cars that are suppose to be high dollar show cars and what not and they have jacked up gaps and stuff like that. Things like that are trigger points for questioning what's unseen.

like this car for example is the one I was talking about. It's James Hedfields car and it's a HIGH HIGH dollar build and multiple show winner but if you look closely the driver side fender, door and hood gaps are off and therefore hit each other and the paint is chipping off.

http://rockindownthehighway.blogspot...esy-james.html

nice car but makes you wonder what other corners they cut.

I definitely see that camber in the pics, but I didn't notice it when i was there. The picture from the rear of the right side of the car REALLY looks like it, camera angle?

!!! Just talked to him, he's just got to adjust them. !!!

Woohooo its a Nissan / Datsun battle ! Heres my buddies 89 240. Colors are pretty close, my buddies is just a bit wider It may not look that wide, but that fender flare is on top of a widebody hahaha. He had the car widebodied front and rear first, then had the flare fitted and molded on top of that. That rear WORK rim is a 18x12, and the front is a 18x10. Motor has pretty much everything.. as you can see, just needs a tune as soon as its done at the body shop.
