Impreza MY97, (v4) onwards up to and incl 01 / 02 with direct turbo inlet path only. Directly bolts to exhaust manifold as well as exhaust pipe off turbo. Minimal modifications required to fit Best applications: This is the most popular replacement turbo for Impreza's with some modifications, such as exhaust and top mount intercooler, kits, etc as this turbo will start to come on boost at 3100 rpm, however is capable of running up to 20 psi @7000 rpm EG cars with up to 180 Kw at the WHEELS Can pump more boost than the std WRX or Sti OE Turbo @7000 rpm, without excessive turbo lag down low. For best results it should be fitted with an electronic boost controller, replacement ecu or well mapped ECU chip. However it can run with a Std ecu and a bleed valve
