I posted this earlier this month, I have a Schlack Syncro Gear set that I had purchased from vivid racing that is good for 585 hp. That tranny never even made it into my car because it ended up producing 730 hp. so it would have ripped the tranny apart. I'm asking $2800 for the tranny its still in the box and never been touched.
Now i bought this tranny from Vivid Racing for $3250. And I spent more then $20,000 with them. I call them back to exchange it for something and they dont even want to hear it. Talk about customer service huh? Any way don't make the same mistake i made. Go to either FizzAutoSports.com or Xccelaration.com and those 2 places will get you anything you need for cheap.

Yea they do have a return policy. But there saying that its too big of an item to take back. So basically now I'm stuck with a $3250 gear set that I wont be even using.

 

Wow! But does the policy say when item is over certain amount or 'size' there will be no return? Can they actually do that?

 

The guy Rob is who I always delt with, and the way he put it was basically "We can't return an item that is 6 months after sale" But on my side of the story> I'm a customer that spent a great deal of money with you guys and 6 months or no 6 months, if the item is still brand new in the box there should'nt be a problem returning it. So over that now they lost a good customer. And keep in mined I waited 5 damb month to recieve it in the first place. So I don't know what to say anymore...

 

vinster i'm pretty darn sure he's selling a brand new full transmission. if not, his wording is VERY misleading.

also, johndoe you mentioned a website called xccelaration.com but i couldn't find anything under that URL.

 

The first sentence that I wrote contained the words GEAR SET, not Full Tranny. Grear set means the actual gears, Steppin Razor. I don't know how you found those words to be missleading.

To clear it up, yes it is a gear set... not a full tranny. That would have been an unbelieveable price for a full tranny even at $3250... Only because I just bought a dog box now for $6100-

 

hey i dont want to get flamed but please dont complain on here about Vivid call and talk to Dan he is the owner and would want you to talk to him directly instead of venting on here. i had a problem also with them once but i called and talked to Dan and it was takin care of in minutes.

730 flywhee hp is possible... I'm thinking fully built 2.4 block, the works, one huge turbo, lots of fuel, good tuning..

but even then, you would have a car that is up there, like, JUN super yellow lemon STi JDM crap your pants power...
