FS: 92 JDM h22a block / engine parts
I just completed a second swap on my car, so I'm selling the engine. Currently it has been reattached to the tranny, and it doesn't have to stay like that.
This swap went into my car a year ago, and I had no problems initially except for an erratic oil light which at first we thouhgt was an electrical issue, turns out the oil sump / pickup was crushed in the oil pan and it wasn't always getting the full flow of oil. As far as I know, this caused no damage as we caught it relatively quick, and I would have continued to drive with that engine had reverse not gone out in the transmission. I don't know why or how, but it did, and the drive gears were slipping a bit too. As far as I'm concerned, that automatic transmission is shot, but the block itself should be in ok shape, at the very least an engine to buy to build up and eventually replace a current h22 block. I don't have the time or money to do this or I would do it myself, though I have considered saving the tranny and shipping it off to level 10 someday.
So, there's the history of this engine, it's had maybe 1000 miles put on it while in the US... I doubt even that. THe oil was changed like 3 at least... the valve cover I switched from the second engine as the paint was peeling off, same with the heat sheild.... whatever, like I said, this engine probably for someone to build up. If you need a part associated with teh swap, chances are I have it, but ask me for it. As it stands, I'm selling the block only or the block and transmission, I can't guarantee or offer any other swap part with it unless you ask me about it, as I will also be selling individual swap items seperately too, so just ask.
