Horrible.
Anyone hear the story of the dude who wanted to buy a Mac on ebay. He got shafted by some guy like this. Well, this guy felt like playing vigilante(sp?) and took a week off to catch the guy. He had the police help him setup a sting. How FUN to see a jack@*** like this go down.
Anyways, I will search for the link. Very interesting story.

interesting mac story though: I know a guy whose imac got stolen. He managed to track down it's IP address via AOL or something. anyway, somehow the guy managed to change the stolen computer's aol dial up number via remote access so it dialed his home. he used caller ID and got the cops involved and busted the thief and got his iMac back!

Yeah man, I sympathize for you. I got burned by a guy named Donnie. I sent him a money order for a turboxs dual stage boost controller. Never got it and he never sent me my money back. He kept telling me that he would send it. Still nothing to this day. I think it's been like half a year now.

Sorry to bring this thread back. I am in a similar situation with someone off clubwrx.net.
We agreed to trade my XBox, 1 game, controller and plugs for a set of 51/4 sony components and 4" speakers. Since I never use my Xbox it seemed like a good idea.
Okay... I shipped the stuff out two days ago... but the guy who used to IM me on AOL everytime I signed on (even when he is signed on) does not answer my PM's anymore. His PM's are just beating around the bush and he refuses to give me the tracking number for the speakers.
So I dont know. If I do not get the tracking number by the time I leave work today, I am going to cancel the shipment. I guess there is a chance the guy is just lazy, and I dont care too much about the XBox... but it's the point. Why can people be so lame? It sucks.
