Anyone wanna trade my Subzero's for stockers?
Sounds wierd I know, me wanting to trade my 17" Gray Metallic Subzero's for stockers (16" OEM, not the BBS or anything), but I'm thinking about selling the car and I think the Rota's would scare off more people then attract them. Mainly because i believe the older people wouldn't like them (in my area of TN anyways) and it'd probably be harder to sell then with stockers.
They have Kumho 712's on them with about 80% tread left. I can get some pics later if people are REALLY interested (too lazy to do it now if it's not going to do any good). The rims are in perfect shape w/NO curbs or scratches or anything and includes all 4 centercaps, of course.
I was thinking that we each pay our own shipping and I get a set of OEM wheels/tires and $600. If you don't think it's a good deal, that's ok, I'm not dying to sell it all, just thought I'd offer. Also, the OEM tires do not have to be in like new shape or anything. Before I sold the car I'd probably put a new set of tires on it, so as long as they're not bald or anywhere near dangerous then I don't care. Price is negotiable with tire/wheel condition.

Ok, I got quite a bit of PM's, I was surprised. I'll try to get some pics today but because a lot of rain we've had my driveway has been pretty muddy since a lot of the gravel has been washed out (I live in TN, so no paved driveways around here). Just keep in mind they'll probably be dirty, but I'll try to wipe them down pretty good before I snap a pic.

Ok, going to get some pics today but won't have them up until tomorrow morning. I've had a LOT of people PM me and it's probably not one of those things where the first person WILL take them since we'll have to deal and name the price for mine going on condition, etc. About the only flaw with the tires/wheels of mine is that the one on the right/front is worn a lot more on one edge then the rest of the tires. The reason for that is, the valve stem cap was stolen (some kids I guess) and either they let the air out or it leaked out. So I didn't notice this until I drove it for about a mile and pulled over at a gas station where I aired it up, but it was too late.
Since the tires are such a relatively low profile the outside edge was kind rubbed down. I was told that I could take it off and switch it with the tire on the left rear (opposite to this one) and then the worn place would be on the inside of the fender and not affect performance because the car usually only stresses the outside edge during turning, NOT the inside.. but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. The top of the tread and other edge is absolutely fine. I'll get a good pic of it tho. Check back in the morning if you're interested. I'll knock $50 off the price of my set for the damaged tire. I would knock off more, but I think that a tire that's $100 new that is still perfectly fine except for the looks shouldn't take $50 off of the price for damage on one edge that doesn't affect anything.

Jay, never got your PM. Just checked my inbox and there's absolutely nothing there. You can try again if you're still interested or you can email me: ljlt@infoave.net
And silver_rex, thanks! I just sanded them down a bit and sprayed around 3 coats of Ford Engine Blue Hi-temp engine paint and then 2 thin coats of clear coat.
