i'm going to be in yuba city tomorrow around lunchtime and i was wondering if anyone knew a good place to eat around there. anywhere between yuba city and grass valley (my next stop).

i'm looking for a not-too-greasy place under $15 (company pays for up to $10).

umm... i prefer asian, but i don't think yuba city is known for that type of food.

as long as the food is good, i'm willing to give it a try. mexican, thai, japanese, italian, greek, korean, a good burger joint... any of those are ok.

 

My responce is pending a responce from my parents, who live in Yuba.

 

There's mongolian BBQ on the corner of 99 and 20 at the southeast corner. There's Heng's Cafe, which is my most favorite Chinese food in the whole wide world, west of Hwy 99 on Stabler Lane between Hwy 20 and Butte House Rd. I can get you addresses later. I gots good mexican food places too.

Isn't there a murder burger up there?

 

I thought there was but one "Redrum" Burger and it was in Davis? Please tell if there are more locations.

the redrum burger on rocklin closed down a few years ago. it's a starbucks now.

 

What's bad is that I live in the Yuba City area, eat there often, and I still can't think of something good to recommend :\

If i were you, I'd hit up DOS and call it a day. There is a DOS in Folsom.

Ain't no dos in YC. But plenty of other Mexican restaurants that puts dos to shame.
