Sucks for him. I put 24,000 miles on mine in 4 months without a single issue. The previous owner was diligent about maintenance, all done by the dealer. I picked up where he left off and the only hting not in tip-top shape are the plugs and wires, because they are a PITA. But, some platinum plugs and half-decent wires and those are good to go for another 75k or so.
