Nice nice. My g/f just graduated last Friday from Sac State too. I'm next It's sad that nobody seems to have jobs lined up yet though.

my wife said they gave her a "ceremoy card" instead of her degree...
the card says she'll receive her degree in 6-8 MONTHS!

that's insane!
how you suposed to jump out into the market & get a new job w/o the degree paper?
just "saying" you have your degree is enough?
i got to start doing that...

Yeah, I saw the card. I don't think the degree takes quite that long, but I don't think potential employers actually care to look at the piece of paper. Most of them call the school somehow and independently verify that the degree was earned.

Yup. You don't need the piece of paper anymore. Documents can be forged to easily. Phone calls to the campus cannot (or, not as easily).

Hah, usually an employer is smart enough to do their own research w/ phone numbers. If they don't trust your word, why would they trust the phone number you give them?
