Don't you hate it when you run into someone you never really cared for and they got the wrong impression of what you're doing now?

Girl I hated and was in constant academic competition with in High School comes into the deli on her cell phone to order a to go sandwich. I just come out from cleaning one of the restrooms and a senior employee asks me to get on the register because we got a sudden huge rush. But she asked like I was an employee there which wasn't a big deal to me. I thought nothing of it until I realized who was sitting at the table. This ***** now thinks my life has come to working the register at my Deli. Haha

She began talking on her phone again. Most likely to some of her friends saying "guess who works register here." I couldn't approach her to pretend I cared how she was doing because she got her sandwich and left ten seconds later.

I laugh about it now because she can think what she wants to think. I'm curious to hear your similar stories

I had a buddy from HS see me at Office Depot about 6 months ago. He asked why I got out of the AF to work there. I pointed at my car and told him being a full time student didn't pay all the bills. He then pointed at his mid 90's S-10. and told me he has a wife and two kids.

 

Haha no spit.

What kept my spirits up was the fact I reverted back to rumors of what friends that went to college with her told me. I guess she completely whored herself out, so…
