Sweet. Today worked out real nice.
4 hour meeting this morning on a very sensitive issue, with me fixing the problem over the support people who are supposed to know all about the app ended up netting me a congrats email from the director of that division, which he sent to a bunch of people I've never heard of but that I know sit high up in the corporate tree (at least one CIO). My boss forwarded the email to her boss, and the head of Corporate IT (my division).
WINNAR.
And my latest project is up on the network!!! WOOOHOOO it's alive!!!
I'm going home.
