It's one of those things where someone pays you with a fake money order or bank check for an amount OVER the price of the car, you then send them a real check for the difference and a week later your bank finds that their check was fake and you are out the difference of the purchase price of the car and the amount of the fake check sent by the buyer.

Like this:

Greetings.....
I had to fully sort things
out with my client before commencing to this point.I
am locating at 1010 Dawson Rd Ontario Canada P7b5j4.
My client has agreed to move on with the transaction
at the price of $29,000.00,and has assigned a shipper
like wise that I will work with and stressed that he
will be issuing out a cashier check of $38,500 which
was a refund payment of a cancelled order earlier made
by him but will be filed in your name.
You are only required to deduct the cost of your
vehicle $29,000 and send the differece $9500 when
payment gets to you, to a shipping agent whose
information will be given to you when due for
shipping. He will need the fund to offset shipping
charges, taxes and other cosmetic repairs/touches,the
agent will be responsible for signing and transfering
of title paper, and also pick-up. So I require you to
send me your
NAME
ADDRESS
PHONE NUMBER
for payment to be delivered to you via courier
services. All other information needed
in completion of this transaction will be given to you
promptly as required.
Best Regard

Heh, just last week one of my friends was being scammed by some dude who was trying to buy his camera. He typed in ALL CAPS and sent an email that was supposed to look like a money order from Western Union. My friend was going to pack up and send an almost empty jar of peanut butter with a note, but the guy ended up backing down after my friend told him he was a fraud.
