Good morning, folks!

Office holiday pot luck today. Just like family Christmas dinners, the complaining and **** talking has already started. Pot luck, so those who didn't/couldn't bring a dish, monetary donations towards BBQ from Sandra Dee's were accepted. Order for turkey, pulled pork and something else was placed last week. Email chain started circulating Monday (started and proliferated by those who did NOT put in for the BBQ order), initially commenting, which quickly escalated to full on complaining and threats of reports to HR that no one asked the non-donors for their input on the order and demanding the order be changed to include chicken.

If you need me, I'll be by the egg nog bowl.

 

Unit breakfast meeting tomorrow, dept holiday party Friday.

 

Corporate gift exchange tomorrow, department lunch on Friday and corporate holiday lunch on Tuesday...

 

Ill be rolling into work either next Mon or Tues.. Ill be the ONLY one from any of my depts on campus (I asked to do it, wasnt asked to). Will be nice and quiet, get a couple projects done

Other than that, wont be back in the office till Jan 4.
