So, it was just me and Alan on the drive. The nice thing about leaving at 8AM (actually 8:15 as we were waiting for one person in particular who never showed up) is that there is very little traffic. The ride out Salmon Falls was fun:

Not long after Georgetown, we started seeing this strange stuff on the roadside:

On the way back down, we stopped at the lake so I could take care of some personal business. This picture doesn’t do justice to the awesome view:

All in all, it was fun. I just wish more folks had showed up. I'm going to have to adjust that 37.1% no show factor upwards.
