Where to move in Reno?

Okay, I'm gonna go to Reno and check out if it's worth the move. Any places I should look or stay away from?

Just what Reno needs...another messican...

BTW, why move to a city named after a Civil War General himself that never set foot in?

Well I'm tired of all my white neighbors getting mad at my half dozen cars and mariachi music.
I can't move too far away from my small businesses, and am unable to afford anything that I want in Kalifornia.

The "South Meadows" Area is booming, and newer. I live in the Northwest part of town and love it. Stay away from Sun Valley, or any part of town with "Valley" in the name.

I recommend the NorthWest Area around Rob drive if you're looking for a newer track house. Kings Row area (also considered the Northwest and closer to the University) is a little more mature, but still a really nice area in most parts. Double Diamond ranch in the South has flat geography, tons of shopping and brand new track homes of all sizes. If you don't mind a little commute you can live in the northeast in the way back side in Spanish Springs there are some nice homes there.
Stay away from Oddie blvd, Montello St., Wells Ave and Mill Street area.

It's a pretty place to live, but there isn't a whole lot to do activity wise especially for the kids and teens, beside outdoor activities. Remember it snows there and it's cold a big portion of the year. This morning it was 4 degrees outside.

Good luck and let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you out.

With the exception of Hidden Valley, that is a pretty nice place.

From what I have heard, South Meadows area was full of people on the Section 8 housing Project. Believe me I know I deal with them on a daily basis.

WELL Fernley has a ton of Mariachi music and a lot of space to park your cars and shed your true Hispanic Colors. or shall I say, for the true Hispanic.
