Honestly (and this is coming from someone who has owned 5 sets of Rotas) I'd pick up a new set. I can see repairing a set of Advans, but I'd have doubts about a matching finish on 2/4 older wheels. Your repair would be considerably more than MACIAS', too, as he was having a polished lip pulled out (no refinishing besides the polishing)
Most wheel repair places run at least 120/wheel when a repaint is necessary, new Rotas aren't that expensive, and the classifieds are always full of used sets......

I was really wondering how safe a wheel is once it's been damaged and repaired. Is it’s structural integrity lessened after such work?
I think I’ll follow the consensus and just get some new shoes… Maybe I can get a quote on the repair, file a claim for that amount and use the money toward a new set. We’ll see…
