sorry to ask in here, but i posted in the wheel & tire forums and im not getting any help. You guys obviously know your stuff. The wheels I ordered from subydude.com are being phased out, so when I ordered mine (17x7.5 48mm offset) they called me and let me know that they only have 17x7.5 53mm offset. They said they'd throw in some spacers for free. Would I be ok like that? Also, would 17x8 53mm offset work? Driving an 05 wrx sedan. thanks for any help, sorry about posting outside of wheel & tire but that forum sucks and SRIC has a ton of people on most of the time.

 

you should be fine either way you go w/out spacers

 

what size tire would you recommend? I was guessing 225/45/17. Wondering if I could get a wider tire and possibly a smaller sidewall. Does offset affect anything?

 

for a 7.5" id use a 225/45-17.. ive got 245/40-17 on my 17x8 53 offset rota TQ's
