That is where the class is, but I have to find a hotel that has fast internet, cause then I can always fall back on being able to look at pr0n and talk E-shmack to you all.

Ohh yeah, ISInc is a pretty cool little facility. I took a class there last year and I live about 4 minutes from there.

How much can you spend on a hotel? If you want to be REAL close there are a couple of options, but I don't know what they cost or if they have the high speed intarweb. If I were you, I'd stay downtown by the capitol or in Old Town at the new Embassy Suites. Those places are NICE.

 

i sent my cousin (whom i do not like) from the east coast to bojangles a few years back. it was awesome.

oh yeah, i also was very drunk at my companys christmas party a few years ago and sent a senior exec to faces because he said "this party sucks, where's the action at in this town?"

Oh, well then you definitely don't want to stay at any of the hotels near the class. And by "near", I mean within 2 minutes. The Sheraton will probably take you 5-10 minutes and the Embassy Suites about the same. They're both REALLY close - the time will depend on traffic. I imagine they both have underground parking .

The hotels near the class are mostly used by travelers staying near the airport on the night before a flight I think. The hotels are like Residence Inn type places.

 

You may be screwed on availability. I'd start calling around now...

Looks like there is some availability at the Embassy Suites, and IMO, that is where I would stay. Real close to old town where there are restaurants and clubs and all that good stuff. Right around the Sheraton is mostly business, though there are one or two really kick *** bars right there within walking distance.

 

i stayed at that sheraton last year on my wedding night. it's really really nice.

 

I am not much of a club or bar person, am more a anti-social geek that doesn't like star wars/trek, RPGs, etc...
But if I find someone to talk shop with I do fine.

 

hmm how about some war driving.
