If I must do what you suggested I not do I will:
The "ha ha ha" after my original statement of "Glad you joined Aaron in the crap on subnub day" was meant to lighten up the statement. I was laughing, not suggesting I was taking it personally.
You are taking this way to seriously. You hate me don't you? LOL

On that note, I give up.

Anywaym back on topic- If you're interested in learning more about things like the Ackerman Effect, pick up 'How to Make Your Car Handle" published by HP Books. It's a little dated, but it covers everything from dynamic roll centers to suspension engineering and proper track setup. It's a must-read IMO.
Engineer to Win by Carroll Smith is also a very worthwile read for people interested in more in-depth race car engineering and setup from a structural point of view. It is also a little dated, but it is still very relevant.

Ackerman for dummies... imagine a curve in the road. find the theoretical center point of the curve. imagine 2 circles around it, one where the inside tire is, one where the outside tire is. OMG!1! they are not the same radius. your inside tire needs to have a tighter radius than the outside tire. ideal steering geometry will approximate this regardless of how wide or tight of a curve it is. poor steering geometry will not and the car will feel like *** while cornering.
