http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ng=&cardist=57 $ 21k granted mileage is only 24k, but still....

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...g=&cardist=300 $ 20K comparable mileage, same year.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ng=&cardist=92 Wagon, which is typically cheaper..... $19K, 28k miles....

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...00&cardist=268 $18k 68k Miles!!!!

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...00&cardist=300 granted this is a dealer....but $20,895! for an 03.....wagon.

Oh yeah..... waaaay too much.... and not one of those has the moonroof or the heated seats...or the extended warranty out to 70K miles.
Those are options which YOU may not care about, but I certainly did when purchasing my WRX...I went through the trouble of purchasing this car from Maryland for the moonroof (and it was a decent deal)....and I am glad I did. There might be someone else, that sees this car, and it is exactly what they are looking for.

I am not saying that it is a screaming deal, it isn't going to be. I don't need to sell it, I just have other projects and ideas, and it is kind of a whim to sell it...so, I feel it is comparable to what others are asking in the open market to theirs. It might be on the cheap end of that market, but it certainly isn't the most expensive. However I feel the condition of my car justifies its price. If someone feels differently and they are interested in my car they are welcome to approach me regarding the price and we can discuss it. It is silly to start with a low price and expect to get the buyer to increase off that. And if you have any other comments or questions regarding my pricing feel free to ask. TIA.

Just to clarify, I am not being an *** about it, those are just my feelings regarding my pricing, and a few minutes of research into it....

As you can see more miles then the average can and will kill the value of any car.
If I kept my car within the "average miles" my car would have sold for 21K Easy.

Miles miles miles. I lost a good chunk of my car's value because of miles.

But If you find someone that's going to fork over that much for an 04 with that many miles, then more power to you.

Why not take it to carmax? They always give you above blue book. So maybe you could get what you're asking.

my insurance went down a significant amount from my 2003 WRX to my 2006 STI ($400 every 6 months).

and that was going from my parents policy onto my own policy. even with my new company its cheaper to insuare my STI than it would have been for WRX.
