I was in meetign all day yesterday, totaly forgot that today was even Wed when I got to work.
It was a cheap movie to make so it still made money. Firefly was not cheap and they did not make much money.

It was good. Some of the jokes got predictable.
But still... Money.
Pacific Rim, Simpsons, and Matrix made a bunch of money. Dredd did not.
I think the lack of sequel on the Simpsons might be the same reason the show was cancelled. The creators were kinda done with it. The franchise is still profitable. But they're all out of ideas.

Yeah, I get the money part. But the fact that those films didn't earn money means that moviegoers are cultureless poopyfaces and go out in droves to watch Paul Blart and Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked instead of movies that I (and other handsome, cool humans) like.
