hmmm... dunno. Maybe put them on someone sti and let them bring them in for repair. it's a known problem. I don't think they rebuilt them though. They just ordered me a new one.

You should put an STI badge on your car just to be safe..

Doing it this morning made me want a lighter flywheel and to get rid of that dam delay between letting off and the ECU holding the throttle open for a second. Damn emissions. While I'm still *****ing I want to get rid of the clutch delay mechanism too.

Some BMW guys were able to disengage the clutch delay valve with some custom 'thingie'
Aparently, the mechanism on your and my car are similar to the older BMW ones and should potentially be able to be bypassed easily. Hopefully someone will step up and make a thingie for our CDV.

I only really notice the CDV when I slip the clutch at high RPM. It makes for some unpredictable launches, IMO. Its pretty annoying at times, but like you said, fine around town.

So my coworker, the one who pooped himself in my office, just got told to turn his radio down by one of the bitter sales chicks, his reply " I was told I can listen at a resonable level between 8 and 10" , then he turned it up, I'm laughing so hard right now.
