boo having work today on my scheduled day off FTL....

Showing up to court for 9:30am traffic court (as printed on the paper they sent me) and being told by the clerk that was a mistake and I'm supposed to go in at 1:30pm FTL.

 

^ yep.. f'n court systems... im off to one right now..

 

Can't you get your fine lowered or something for their giving you false info?

 

Man.... I wish. F***ers got my whole $1 too for the 2 hour parking permit.

 

The ticket is the legal information, so I'd argue that her telling you to come at 1:30 is false info and they'd better get someone there at 9:30 to handle your case

Wayyyyy worse than sac courts.

 

I guess it doesn't really matter too much since its not a final hearing (just going in to plead not guilty and get a hearing) but yeah when I get a chance to talk to the DA I'm going to mention it, just more of a PITA to have to go in twice.....

hopefully the same ish happens for the next one. Lol, I'd pretty much get the guaranteed dismissal cuz the cop wouldn't be there early enough...

maybe the cop showed up at 9:30 too and will have isht to do at 1:30 and wont show :banana:

 

I'd write them a check for $.50 then say you left the other $.50 when you came in at 9:30.

True. I can only hope.. Either way, even if he does show up I've got a pretty convincing case put together and there are a couple of items that he ticketed me for that he's gonna sound like an idiot for putting on the ticket because of his ignorance. I think he was having a really bad day, hates imports, or someone almost hit him on his motorcycle or something cuz he was a complete asshat during the stop. (or it could have been cuz of the fact that he almost rearended me too He shouldn't have been trying to catch me at double my speed! )
