I just checked the mitsu site, it was definitely the new Eclipse. Didn't look too bad - big car though. I think it looked bigger because of all the round panels on it.

Those are some big *** burgers. Did any of those people manage to eat the whole thing. They had some big *** steaks in Texas that if you ate the whole thing you got free food for X amount of time.

I don't think they're out yet - this could have been a test car or something. I remember just before the RX8 came out Mazda was touring them around the country. I happened to be in the French Quarter in New Orleans the night they brought two RX8s out there and I got to check em out well before they hit dealers.

Was pretty cool.

Damn man. Next time your in the French Quarter you need to tell me before hand. I know all the good spots and then you won't have to get ripped off on taxis.

Yeah I know - we'll party like crazy. But this was over 2 years ago - about a month after I got my WRX

Like I said, road trip to New Orleans. You plan on coming down any time soon. I am going up to the mountains in North Carolina to go white water rafting. The best Subie roads ever up there. That'd be a great place to have a meet if it wasn't on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY.

Sorry I missed you...I called you back but could not reach you on the 2-way. Carrie came and took me to lunch, so I'm good...

It will mostly be so we can party and drink.

The boobies will just happen to also be there. Duh.

HAHA Lately the weather has been awesome. Low 70's everyday with about 50% humidity. It gets a bit warm in Sept. The best time to come is now and in October-November. It's never that bad though. A lot of people come to New Orleans for their honeymoon. A lot of other people come because they are just divorced and want to get laid by as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time. If your wife is a kind of uptight person, a little shy or easily embarrassed I'd avoid the Quarter at night.
